Email Notifications

Suppliers can modify Sourcing Event Email Notifications under the Supplier Profile as shown below: 

 

 

Under the Email Notification menu option, the user can update the Event Invite Notifications, which are defaulted to “Notify users of all open invitation events”. The user can also update the General Event Notifications, which are defaulted to “Notify users when a participated event is awarded”. Select update to save changes.

Note: Open Invitation events are public events that everyone on the Supplier Portal will be able to view and access regardless of Email Notification selections.

Notifications based on Customer

Suppliers may also choose to update the email settings to “Notify users of open invitation events from assigned customers” based on their desired participation. If the customer-based notifications are selected, suppliers must create a customer list to control the notifications.  

 

Select Customer List from the drop-down menu under the Profile tab.

 

 

At that point, the user can select/ deselect customers you wish to receive bids from based on locations. Search for the desired customers and select the Assigned checkbox. Select update to save all changes.

Notifications based on Commodity Codes

 Suppliers may also choose to update the email settings to “Notify users of open invitation events for all assigned commodity codes." Commodity codes can be assigned/unassigned through the Profile tab > Select Function drop down menu > Commodities.

Notifications based on Location

 Suppliers may also choose to update the email settings to “Notify users of open invitation events from assigned locations” based on their desired participation. If the location-based notifications are selected, their Business Area selected during registration controls the notifications.  

 

Select Company Information from the drop-down menu under the Profile tab.

 

 

At that point, the user can adjust their location settings to indicate where they conduct business. The user can select United States, United States and Canada, Specific States/Provinces, Global, or Specific Countries.
