The release is scheduled for Thursday, April 21.
Enhancements Checkout: Ability to forward transaction
A new setting has been added to Edit Entity Settings to allow users to forward transactions. For example, a user can forward a transaction to another Checkout user to add accounts, or a user can copy an old transaction and forward it along to another user in a different department who may need similar items. The Forward option will appear in the Next Step drop-down; upon selecting Forward, a pop-up will appear with a searchable list of users. Once a user is selected, an email notification will be sent to notify the selected user of the transaction assignment.
Please note that the Forward option will not appear for transactions created before the option is enabled in Edit Entity Settings.
Receive: Addition of View Order
The View Order option, which displays a printable version of an order after it has been submitted to the supplier, is now available in the Receive tab using the Next Step drop-down. If an active transaction in the Receive tab is accessed in Order Summary, the View Order option will also be accessible.
Account Favorites Import
A new template has been added to the Import Templates screen that allows administrators to upload account code favorites and associate them with users. This import can be used to create and delete account favorites for multiple users simultaneously.
Including Account Description in Account Code field display
A new option, Show Description in Account Drop Down, has been added to Edit Entity Settings. When enabled, the GL Account Code field will display the full account number string, followed by the respective account descriptions separated by hyphens. The description display is limited to the current width of the Account Code field, so some characters may not be visible.
Including Shipping and Handling in Tax Calculation
For entities who pay sales tax, a new option has been added in Edit Entity Settings to include any Shipping and Handling amounts on a transaction when calculating sales tax amounts. If disabled, Shipping and Handling will not be considered when calculating sales tax amounts.
