Business Classifications – Add/Edit Supplier, Shop results, Reporting
In the Add/Edit Supplier screen, business classifications (such as Non-Profit or Small Business) can be added for non-catalog suppliers in the Business Classification section or through the Non-Catalog Supplier Import. For hosted and punchout suppliers, this information will be updated from the Supplier Portal if necessary.
Add/Edit Supplier – Business Classification
On the Shop results page, any items for a supplier with one or more classifications will display an icon with the name of the classification. If more than one classification applies, the label ‘multiple’ will display in the results, and the full text will display when the Product Detail popup is accessed. The search results can also be filtered by classification using the Faceted Search functionality.
Changes to the Shop results page only apply for entities with the new Shop/Cart UI enabled. If you would like to test the new Shop/Cart UI in your Training environment, please contact Customer Support.
