Notification message for upcoming releases upon Login
For future releases, ESM Solutions will configure a message to display upon login so users will be notified in advance of planned system downtime. The user can dismiss the message by clicking the ‘X’ on the right edge of the banner.
Receive All can be enabled in Edit Entity Settings for entities utilizing Receive functionality. The setting will default to No.
When this option is enabled, Receive All – Qty and Receive All – Value (if Value Receiving enabled) options will appear in the Next Step drop-down on the Receive tab. Selecting the option will default each item’s Quantity Received (if Receive All – Qty selected) or Value Received (if Receive All – Value selected) to the respective qty or value from the Purchase Order. Lines that were partially received will be updated as well to receive the remaining open quantity or value; any line items that were over-received or marked closed will not be impacted.
Invoice – Reminder Notifications and Follow Up
Entities with Receive and Invoice enabled will have a Receive/Invoice Follow-Up option displayed for any invoices processed manually within the ESM Purchase application. The link allows Invoice users to initiate comments to a transaction’s requester regarding receipts and allows Receive users to view and add additional comments. For example, these comments can be used to convey approval for payment. When a comment is submitted, an email notification will be sent to the user. A history of the comments will display within the popup.
For entities utilizing electronic invoicing, a notification will be generated to the transaction’s requester upon posting of an electronic invoice from the supplier if any items on the corresponding transaction have not been received or have partial receipts. The notification will contain a report attachment listing the invoice and receipt details.
External/Internal Notes – Allow up to 10,000 characters
The External and Internal Note fields for all workbench pages have been modified to accept up to 10,000 characters.
Delegate – Remove Approve/Manage restriction
If selecting a Delegate for a user in Add/Edit User or the Profile screen, users are no longer restricted to selecting Approve delegates (if they are Approve users) or Manage delegates (if they are Manage users). Approvers can now select Manage users as delegates and vice versa.
Purchase Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where large catalog files (hosted or Level 2 PunchOut) could not be previewed by administrators in Add/Edit Catalog
Bids and Quotes
Reporting – Line Item Bid comparison
After selecting an event in the Award tab, the user can select the Print option from the Next Step drop down. If the event contains one or more line item bid sections, a folder will be generated with two files: a PDF containing all responses for question and answer and pricing matrix sections, as well as any content sections, and an Excel file containing all responses for line item bid sections. The Excel file can be used to analyze supplier responses before proposing awards.
